Yes. While we are confident that you will love training at SHFT, your first session is free so you can experience the coaching, community and facilities before deciding which membership is for you. Please get in touch by email or message us on instagram to book a free trial.

Yes – we offer 5% discount for full-time school and university students, and individuals with a blue light card.
Comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, supportive/flat trainers and a water bottle. We provide all the necessary equipment for a session.
Our classes are designed to improve strength, conditioning, mobility, and overall fitness. Each session is varied and scalable for all fitness levels. We use a functional, full body approach to develop well-rounded members.
We run the same class in each session per weekday i.e. the morning and evening sessions on a Monday will go through the same session.
We manage class numbers based on the planned session to ensure that all members have access to equipment and coaching. Usually no more than 12-15 per session.
Yes – please book in advance to manage class sizes and ensure you have a space. Members can book through the app 8 days in advance, while non-members can book 7 days in advance.
Absolutely. All classes are coached, and we adapt movements to your ability so you can build strength and confidence safely. All sessions are suitable for beginners, we just ask that you arrive 10 minutes early and notify the coach that you are new.
Not at all! Our programming is designed for all levels. Your coach will tailor movements to your ability and help you progress safely. This is where you gain your strength and fitness, not just a place to show it off. We celebrate all fitness levels at SHFT and you are a welcome member of the community regardless of ability level.
Yes – we offer 1-2-1 personal training and nutrition coaching.
Personal training is available from any of our in-house coaches. Nutrition coaching is available from Sophie (Sports Nutritionist).

All coaches hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualificiation as a minimum. Most coaches also hold a Level 3 Personal Training qualification. Aside from this, coaches hold a variety of additional qualifications, including:

Yes! Our sessions build the strength, endurance and functional movement patterns required for Hyrox, ATHX and other hybrid fitness events. We build capacity and strength movements such as sleds, wall balls and lunges which will come up on race day. Let us know you are training for an event so we can support you through both coaching and community.
We’re based at Unit 5, Mallard Park, Essendine. If you drive through Bland’s coaches, you’ll see us just to the left of Stamford Gymnastics Club. We have free parking outsife of the unit and are easily accessible from surrounding areas.

Yes – all memberships include unlimited open gym access during opening hours.
We ask that if you are coming to use the gym during a timetabled session, please respect the space/equipment use of the members in the session.
We have a fully equipped training space, showers and changing facilities. We encourage you to arrive early and stay late for chatty warm-ups, rehab and extra training.
We also have a treatment room which is available to hire on an hourly basis.
